April Fools Day How It Came Why Its Celebrated
April Fools Day How It Came Why Its Celebrated

.
While it falls on the 1st day of the 4th month of the year, relatively few may know how the prank day come into existence.
A popular story asserts that the earliest instance of April 1st multiplying into All Fools Day occurred in Geoffrey Chaucers The Canterbury Stories. Several reports suggest that the New Years Day was celebrated in April for the longest of time.
In 1582, the Gregorian Calendar was presented and it declared that January 1st would be the New Years Day. In any case, many refused to change it and went ahead to celebrate New Years Day in April. Those who changed by the calendar started ridiculing those who kept on celebrating New Years Day in April and started sending them on "fools errands." Hence came April Fools Day practice into existence.
Keeping the tradition going, individuals over the world spend days arranging the ideal prank on their companions and partners.
