This morning, I received two emails which I would like to share with you:

Dear Sir,

I am writing from a firm called NetResult (see www.nr-online.com for details) � we work on behalf of a number of sports rights holders in the football world including the FA Premier League, UEFA, SPL and The Leagues. You site was brought to our attention by the FA Premier League as it links through to a number of copyright infringing clips on YouTube � this is not authorized by the rights holders mentioned earlier as their audiovisual rights are not available for broadcast online except for official partners (YouTube not being on of them).

Typically an infringing site/blog such as yours is sent a Cease & Desist email and a copy is sent to the sites ISP, which normally means if the site owner refuses to remove the infringing material, the ISP can shut the site down due to copyright infringements. Instead of sending you a Cease & Desist for the clients detailed in this email, I have decided to write directly to you and request that you remove the links to the YouTube clips. They will be taken offline anyway shortly by YouTube, so your blog will effectively have "dead" links.

Please remove the links immediately and do not post any further links to YouTube material featuring audiovisual content from the FA Premier League, UEFA, SPL and The Leagues on the blog in the future.

This site will continue to link to goals while they continue to be shared on Youtube. In the short time that this site has been online, numerous football fans around the globe have thanked us for our hard work and for providing plenty of goals. Long may that continue...
